In spring 2020, AMETRAS vision GmbH received an order from the DPD national companies in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Belgium, Croatia and Slovenia to introduce a new scanning system including a scanning server. Reason: For all DPD business units outside Germany, the previously used scanning solution will no longer be further developed and the support will also expire. A replacement was therefore urgently required - especially as the changeover was to be completed in all locations before the peak season.
"A top performance - considering the pandemic-related security measures that had to be taken into account and the parcel volumes that already remind us of Christmas in spring. Nevertheless, we managed it in impressive teamwork!" says Ulrich Eberbach, Managing Director of AMETRAS vision GmbH.
